Mom, have you had an MRI of the spine? I haven't had one either, but my torso is numb on the right side, starting at the bra line and tapering off at the waist. I think I must have a lesion in that area.
As to your numbness getting worse, anytime I do stuff - exercise, standing up for a while, painting the kitchen... I pay for it later. Either with muscle aches and cramps, or with numbness. I feel the best when I've had lots of sleep the day prior.

This is probably true, no matter what the underlying condition. When I had carpel tunnel (while pregnant only), the more I typed (or used my wrists), the worse the numbness got.
The trick, at this point, is for them to peg the underlying condition, which may be stemming from your spine. Cherie
