Oh, RW, I'm sorry that I'm so late getting to your thread. I read the whole thing for punishment..

I'm glad your appt. is over and he didn't call you fat. I have gained a bunch of weight too and I don't care, so there. I do hope you get back in good shape, so you can get to that river.

I can't wait for you to get back on the river and start telling us all the fasinating stories of the things you do and the people you meet.

Wow, RW, you must be one sweet girlfriend! All these people picking on you and you just keep smilin'. Or is that smile the sweet thought of revenge?

I'm glad to hear your neuro appointment went fairly well. He/she sounds like a keeper! Mine is like that, she will just keep talking with you if you need it. And you never have to wait long to see her. I'm wondering if she has extra long appt for yappers like me.

He's just got such a good way about him!
Thanks Sassy!

I do believe there were THREE of you hiding behind me when we walked into Vinnie T's! Don't forget ol' Twink was hiding back there somewhere too!

( it was that awesome wool full length coat that saved you all!)

Oh my gosh, you're making me laugh here RW! I'm so glad your neuro appt went fairly well! Sounds like you have to start taking better care of #1 again though! I think the river trip sounds like the best idea of all of them.

I got to go out by myself in a kayak on the Caribbean for about 15 minutes. I can just imagine how much fun the river would be.

My youngest son just loves being on the river on his canoe! His dream is to have either a house on the river, or some land with a manmade lake that he can stock with fish and also big enough to take his boat out.

FinLady!
I hear you on the dressing thing! I used to measure it out serving size until I knew how much it was by eyeball! My eyeball grew!
It's back to the tablespoon for me!

Cherie!
All girl here and a LOT of me! We have another "little pickle" on the board here who is 6'2, so I'm not alone!
As to my feet? They fit my body! I could fit DM AND Taffy in one of my shoeboxes.Hmmm...Flygirl and Yabbit would fit in the other! I bet we could squeeze Mary(MBSews) in there somewhere!

Cheryl!
There was a dearth of foot pictures at that meeting! I'm pretty sure there wasn't a clear foot picture taken by anyone who tried to take one!
As for hitting??? I never hit...
I have other means of inflicting torture

Taffy!
Paint my toenails? I can't see my toenails, never mind get my hands on them for long enough to paint them! They are soooo far away! I have to make it by the chest, the stiff joints and trying to hold the foot in place for more than 5 seconds! I can barely cut them! It's like a spring when I let go! LOL! The boyscouts painting the toenails is tribal behavior...LOL
I can tell you some stories...

He did some tests, close your eyes and touch your nose...(thanks joellelee! I posted on your thread that I did that and failed the first try?)

Failed again.

Put my feet together and close my eyes and stand there...felt myself falling over sideways.Put my arms out for steadiness and balance.

Fail.

Weakness in legs and arms...tremor when I try to lift against his push.

Fail.

Yes I need to lose weight, but he thinks it's more than that. Soooo...new PT assessment, a written prescription for swimming so insurance will pay , Lab tests for thyroid, liver, Vit B12, Vit D, iron, and something else I forgot. Refill on my prescriptions and a half hour for chat about me getting back on the river by spring. He says YES!
