After more reading and asking questions, I have to agree with you on this. Unless more info comes out, I'm not adding to my worries!

I had 3 moles appear out of nowhere right before my attack from you know where! while I was so sick, I watched one on my tummy grow....I'm talking a few months time here...when it got a hint of red around the outside, I called the derm....she removed it....turned out to be premelanoma....the other two have grown some, and I will have them removed as well, even though they aren't doing exactly the same thing.

She told me at the time that the drugs I am on are notorious for moles growing bad....at the time I was on Rebif....

not sure where she gets that from, if you look in the Mimms, (the drug information bible that the medical community uses) there is no mention of a link between melanoma and Rebif. so i can only think that its something she ahs seen amogst her patients rather than an accepted drug reaction. infact when i did a search i found one clinical trial that had been looking at the idea of using rebif to treat patients with recurrent melanoma!!
I live in australia, we have the highest incidence of melanoma in the world so you'd think it there were a link between the drugs and melanoma we would have been told- i see my neuro on monday and i will ask him about it but my thoughts at the moment is that all moles etc need to be monitored and checked if they change regardless of whether we are on DMD's.
