Default Ooohhh... bubbly... Ouch!

I don't normally talk about the stuff between stem and stern, if you know what I'm saying...

But the last three days, I've been extremely, well, bubbly. To the point where I feel like I'm buzzing inside. It's not that - I actually know what that feels like. It's just little bubbles of air inside me. I'm also getting some excruciating abdominal pains - feels like my colon is spazzing out, I guess. Or my stomach, but there isn't any muscles around in there, is there?

It's really unusual for me to be this bubbly and in pain, so I thought I'd ask around for other people's experiences.

I was hoping you'd have gotten more replies by now...

You don't have this kind of thing much do you? This is new?

Yeah, same here. Wish I could help. Only thing I can think is there are so many intestinal bugs going around right now, could it be something like that?

Sorry to hear about this. Hope you feel better soon.

I'd talk to your PCP about this, sounds like it could be a bug.

I have this problem when I eat certain foods. Started after my gall bladder was taken out at 19, so I know where my issue is coming from there. I know which foods to avoid to, but some times I just can't help myself, lol.

Of course I found this out the hard way. All the docs were like "you don't have to change what you eat, even without it". Oh boy, were they wrong.

This sounds very challenging. I would get an appt with your PCP to start the clinical evaluation. You just may have an overactive Colon. The intestinal track is completely lined with muscles to cause the Parastalic movements to move waste through them.

I really don't understand what you mean by "bubbly" in this situation. Would you mind expounding on this for me?

Err... gassy! To the point where I felt like a bottle of Diet Coke that somebody had shook up.

Phew. Fortunately, this has passed... so to speak! I still get the occasional pain, but it's not as bad. I've been assuming that it's the colon muscles and etc. cramping up. It certainly feels like a cramp.

I know what you mean, FinLady - my pop had his gall bladder taken out, and he really suffers when he eats the wrong foods.
