Although I've never heard it described exactly as you have, there's lots out there on similar symptoms with Fb, i.e. some of the most common symptoms with Fb include: tingling, numbness, skin sensitivities, etc:

http://www.fmnetnews.com/basics-criteria.php

"Sensations of numbness, tingling, burning, or a crawling sensation are often described in association with Fibromyalgia. Thus, it is difficult to seperate if the symptoms are coming from fibromyalgia or peripheral neuropathy"

Funny, I thought of this thread when I was watching a creepy program last night. I am currently numb in various parts of my body, and when I got totally spooked by something on the show, my goose bumps jumped to attention. I felt them in a different way then usual in my numb areas . . . so maybe it is a combination of neuropathy with anxiety/fear that is making this so difficult for you right now . . .?
