MonaVie is a multi level marketing scheme. That's why is it so expensive. I will admit that I tried it for a while and it did nothing for me. They have a website that you can look at to see what it all about but it is nothing but a very expensive fruit juice. They make all sorts of claims about the properties of their particular berries/fruits.

Buyer Beware.

I take a vitamin supplement daily - about eight different pills that includes an antioxidant. I'm just worried that I'll be duplicating what I'm already doing.

I take Nature's Code for women 50 and over (NO - I'm not 50 yet but it had more calcium in it so I opted for that formula) and it comes in pre-dispensed packets so I don't have to buy umpteen different things. I really like it and it seems to be helping. I have more energy and my skin, hair and nails are all looking better.

Rite Aid had the Mona Vie but it was about $40 a bottle. Just a tad bit too much for fruit juice seems to me! I know you only take 2-3 ounces at a time but still. . . . .

I was just wondering if anyone had tried it and had good results. I guess it's like anything else - some will have good results and some won't.

The way they market it is similar to how companies like Amway works. I'm sure there's nothing wrong with the juice, it's probably pretty tasty, and it could actually be like a liquid vitamin, but I think the way they sell it is a pyramid scheme.

The juice itself probably isnt worth much more than any juice you can buy at a grocery store, but they put it in a wine bottle and that allows them to sell it at a huge markup

I'm not telling anyone not to buy it, just that my personal opinion is that it's a pyramid scheme that allows the people selling it to make a lot of money.

That's exactly what it is Erin...mlm is a pyramid...

when I started the clinical trial I am in, the protocol people had to have a complete list of everything that was in the product. They were not very happy about me taking this product. After about 3 months, they decided they wanted me to be off it, so I had to stop.

And for a one month supply of this product, think $150.

It may be ok for some people, but for me, it did nothing. It's really not that tasty either! If you like thick grape juice, go for it...thick, expensive grape juice! LOL!

I've googled this expensive grape juice, and I've seen more people complaining about it than people hawking it's wonders as a miracle drug. I get the feeling that this is similar to the snake oil salesmen of the 1800's.

I may be a bit jaded about this kind of stuff. I used to work for the company that takes the telephone orders for anything made by Ronco and Time Life and a ton of other infomercial crap. I've seen how some companies can talk a person into buying stuff by saying just the right words. I'm suspicious of a lot of companies that sell weight loss products and exercise equipment.

I just dont like people trying to rip someone off for the health "benefits" that a $50 bottle of juice supposedly might bring them. I think people are better off if they eat healthy and exercise. But, if people want to buy this juice, I wont tell them not to. People will get tired of shelling out a ton of money for a small bottle of juice.
