Oh Brain !!!

I am so very sorry - your poor babies are grieving with you. I have watched some of my pets helplessly grieve for another and it truly is heartbreaking. All you can do is love them to pieces - as you are doing.

As a child, our neighbors had Peacocks. One Spring, one of the Peackocks screamed and screamed and screamed - continually - if you have never heard a peacock - they are extremely loud. It was really strange so when my Daddy saw the neighbor, he asked him about the Peacocks, turns out that the female had been killed and the male was absolutely mourning himself to death. He screamed for weeks on end - it was so sad when we found out what had happened.

I have 3 cats and 7 large Koi in a pond outside - they are all so special (yes my fish too). My cats actually check on each other when something happens - Puffy - the older female always looks after the other 2 cats.

I hope you will get some rest today and I hope you and your babies will feel better.

Did you know that it was coming ???? Was she sick - or was she really old ??

Jan, I'm sorry to hear about your job. I'm going through something similiar, and I know how humiliating and upsetting it can be, especially when you know it wasn't warranted. I'll be praying that something better comes along soon for you.

In health news, my PCP agreed that I need a spinal MRI (I can't get the NP at my neurologist's office to order one, even though my last spinal MRI was two years ago and was done without contrast on a 1.5T MRI machine.) So, I'm scheduled for tonight at 6:15 p.m. I just had a brain MRI two weeks ago, and it was normal.

My PCP definitely feels like I have MS. She's just baffled as to why the MRIs are normal too. Hopefully, I'll get some answers with this MRI tonight.

Hugs to all,

Lisa

Hey Lisa,
Good luck with the MRI tonight. You and I definately have to discuss that NP some time. It is good to know that we "both" had bad experiences with her which makes me think there is something not so comforting about her as an NP rather than taking it personally (as I did) I left feeling so frustrated.

Jan - sorry about your job - I just read the first post by brain and didn't see that earlier...
