Thanks all! It turns out it is "just" petechea and two areas of purpurea (bigger versions, looks like a deformed bruise). He said I am seeing them as a result of an inflammatory process and he guesses it is due to the flare that hit. He said some will fade as they get absorbed but some may get to hang around for quite. Offered steroids, but I don't fel too bad right now so I turned them down. I can always have him call them into the pharmacy if I want them.

All in all, I went to the party this weekend. Wouldn't you know it folks mainly comented on my braces (royal blue AFOs) and on my "zit". The zit was actually a petechea spot on my face. I guess since I just hit 40 most folks felt the need to coment/joke about me needing to grow up

Much thanks again all!
