Had my really bad first fall. Was trying to put on my shorts and lost my balance.Grabbed for the nearest thing and it was the bed lost grip and plop right into the floor I went. Now on top of the flare up I have been having since last Monday I am dealing with a sore bottom and arm.

That's too bad, coletaterbug.
Guess by now you've picked yourself up and dusted off. At least it wasn't in the middle of WalMart parking lot or somewhere public. I was on crutches for a broken ankle recently and had a bad fall in a Wendy's bathroom. It was so embarrassing -- they called the EMTs and everything. Now you just need someone to come along and kiss your booboos better.

Shorts? Is that pants or underpants? Just curious!

So sorry you fell!! I hope you're not too sore....you know it takes a day or two for the full effects to set in. Be careful - let someone else wait on you if you can.

I hate that when that happens. It is so frustrating and bothersome. I am part of the fall club.
I hope you are doing better this morning and arm and bottom are doing better. Sending you gentle 's. |

Taterbug,
I'm sorry to hear about your fall. The best thing for boo-boos (for my kids) is to kiss the boo boo, BUT considering you fell on your tuchas I'll just have to give you a hug! I hope you feel better soon!

Ugh, I hate that! Coletaterbug and all, please go get taught how to fall. It's not a joke, a PT, a football player, or a gymnast can quickly teach you falling techniques to avoid injury. These tips have spared me many serious injuries over the years.
When I tore my rotator cuff, I was told that I needed falling lessons. That was the last serious injury I've had from a fall. Plus, I look gooooood on the way down. I hope your ego is all that got injured, Bug.
