I think it's a great idea. It would reduce commuter traffic, help the air quality and give people one more day at home.

Before I had to go on LTD I worked 10 (sometimes more) hour days five days a week and sometimes went in on Saturday (just to have some quiet time to get things done). I'm sure that contributed to me having to file for disability sooner than I would have had to with a "normal" work schedule.

My son the police officer works a 6 on/3 off schedule. He liked the 4 on/2 off schedule better even though he had to work longer hours each of the 4 days.
