Frown Not a Happy Summer Camper..U G H!

This has been just an awful Summer for me. I'm not having a very good time. I slept almost all day yesterday. I woke up early (9 am) and went back to bed at 11 am...slept till 2 pm....bk to sleep at 4 pm until 8 pm... then midnight till this morning at 9am.

It's been warm (not too hot) humid, rainy, yucky all week, so far. Today is no different. I have C/A, so it shouldn't be a problem..right?....Wrong!! The yucky air just seems to permiate.

I'm really trying to ignore the yuckiness, I feel and to just motivate as much as I am able and do some things that make me happy, but AAARRRGGGHHH, it's not working and I'm down in the dumps.

I know, I'm not alone and that a lot of you are feeling the same way or worse, but that doesn't help...it just makes me feel worse, knowing that you are all hurting, too..

I guess I just needed to whine. Anybody want to join me? Bring Cheese, please...I like Sharp.

Sally,

In lovely Southern California we have been saving on natural gas because all of the cooking is being done using solar technology: (1) place roast in pot; (2) put pot on porch; (3) dinner is ready in 20 minutes!

It has been unbearable here (110F) and my a/c went out while I was in Kona. It seems that my father-in-law was right when he told me not to move any volcanic rocks on the island, as the Curse of King Kamehameha would hit hard...and it did ($4,900 for the new a/c system).

To make matters insulting...it is cool today!

Drats, my butt hurts from the expenses, heat and overall weather.

The good news is that I can move my left leg now, and the swelling in my left foot has stabilized.

Geez guys...how would you like to come see your little buddy Taffers? Here in Washington State, it is lingering in the mid to upper 70's. I am loving it and am getting so much done. But that what I get for living in a rain state. Hang in there...it's got to get better!

I love extra sharp cheese so I'll bring that.

I couldn't have put the words any better Sappy.

I called today to see the neuro Wed. he is off.

Called to see the dentist. They were to packed and since I was
not in unbearable pain to call tomorrow.

Don't understand about the teeth. I just had a complete check up
1 1/2 mo. ago. everything fine. There seems to be a sore above one
tooth. I have been going through a nasty flare and there have been
times when I break out with the blisters on my lips or gums. I don't
know if this is something else that is happening.

The immune system wacks out and everything goes with it.

Sally I also feel that I am sleeping this summer away. The weather
today is so muggy you could cut it with a knife. I can only go out for
about 10 min. before I start feeling like I can't breath. Well the COPD
that I also have doesn't help.

HAVE EVERYTHING READY SALLY AND WE WILL MAKE OUR OWN
SUMMER IN HOUSE PARTY

ALL ARE WELCOME (as long as sally doesn't mind us crashing
her house)

Can I join the party? Sorry you are not feeling well Sally and Jappy! I feel like crap! Can I say that? Well, I just did! I brought some Vermont cheddar, but I prefer fresh mozarella with tomatoes and basil myself.

It is about 90 here and we had bad storms all of yesterday and last night so it is really humid. My fatigue is also worse and I feel like I am being stabbed in my left leg everytime I walk. My arm is also bothering me and my entire face hurts (head, eyes, chubby cheeks, and teeth). I have an appointment with my pcp tomorrow as I think I may have a sinus infection.

I feel for you, Sal!

Remember back a few weeks ago when I was complaining that it was in the 60s every day and rainy and I wished summer would come?

It's here. It's been 80s-90s and HUMID now for what feels like weeks. I am a limp piece of celery, a dishrag, a melted puddle of goo. My a/c has been running nonstop for days, air quality is poor, etc. Hazy, hot and humid and I do NOT agree.

I stay inside every day except when I go to work at night. No a/c in the car or at work, so it's just breathtakingly nasty until I can get it cooled down with every fan running for hours, windows open and praying for it to BREAK and cool down!

The only good thing is on my days off I can go outside and freeze my butt off in the lake. Last week I was in it for hours! I'd get out and do a little work and then right back in to cool down. It's rather funny to be frozen from the neck down, and sweating from the neck up! I keep a cup with me to pour water on my head!

May we all see comfortable temps soon!

Poor Sally! I hope it cools off there soon! It's starting to get hotter here and it can be tough to deal with the humidity.

For my cheese offering, I'll give you some Provolone and a glass of white organic whine.

Yep, the humidity is breaking Jim down slowly. I am mad because he's feeling better with the changes we are doing in his meds and he can't get out to enjoy it. Not to mention the swarm of wasps that think my house siding is a nest. Ugh

I too have had a crummy summer, planned for over a month to spend 10 glorious days in a condo on the beach with 2 of my sisters (hoping it would bring us closer) and then when we start off I am informed that my older sister's DD and her 3 DD's under 5 were also going (with the rest of us bearing the expense) and It was hell, I wanted so bad for peace and quiet, and of course mommy had to sleep in and the kids ran wild...they destroyed at least 500.00 in my electronics by going in my room and doing what kids do, no one took the blame and I am stuck with the fallout! It was miserable, I hid from everyone, plus most of them stayed drunk (who does that leave to keep kids from killing themselves?? If I ever get another vacation it will be me, my furbaby and my laptop! I worked so hard to save for the trip and now its over and nothing left to look forward to!
