Oh Man SallyC! I never heard of a reverse reaction to Versed-- are you the first? My God, what a terrible ordeal. I'm so sorry to have misled you, even though it was unintentional.

Gosh Sally -- that sound terrible -- I hope you feelig better today and that the pain a swelling have gone. What an ordeal. I also hope that your new teeth (that will never get cavities) are comfortable and I am sure you will have a great smile! Good luck kiddo! :) Gail

Hello Sally,
I'm sorry it was such an ordeal, but glad all is in the past now. Keep that ice on and make sure you're getting plenty of protein to heal. You'll be smiling in no time. Isn't that odd about the Versed? I've never seen that happen, but we usually use it in combination with other anesthetics. Only you! Feel better soon.

Chris

Today was my worse day....something about the 3rd day after a procedure. Anyway I slept most of the day away. The pain is deminishing and the swelling may be going down a bit. The bruising looks awful still, but bruises always look the worst before getting better.

I'm doing my best to recuperate but it's taking longer than I expected. I feel like I've been abused..KWIM. I want to have someone arrested or something..LOL

I just had some delicious Edy's slow churned chocky ice cream. The cold feels so good in my hot little mouth. It has half the fat too...great stuff.

You guys are the best, thanks for being there.:)

Versed can raise BP...it's a known, possible side-effect. I have chronic HBP (well-medicated these days), but had no problem with Versed any time I was given it. Thank God for that!

My BP is usually quite normal..119/70. It shot up to 148/90. They were afraid i may have a stroke or something.

My DH had a mild heart attack while have a conoscopy. I wonder if they used versed on him. I believe that was the start of his downward spiral.:(
