Hi,
I prefer doing my own. If there comes a time when I can't I will need to remember that there just some shots that really hurt without any reason I have been able to figure out so it won't be DHs fault!

I do think everyone gets nervous every once in a while. Sometimes that translates to, "I just can't face the needle" syndrome and you end up going on a medication break for a bit until you CAN face it again.

My grandson loves to do my injection for me when he's been here and I've done it. Kid's 9, what do you want? But he thinks he's cool and that he's helping. He is.

I'm on that 'weekly hummer shot' but I am overweight so there's a lot of fat for it to go through and it doesn't hurt. But I prefer giving myself my own shot. I think of it like this. I, myself am doing something to combat this disease. I, myself have the upper hand. May sound a bit corny and I may not feel this way if my MS were worse but it works for me now. My husband ws a medic in the Navy so I have my built in back up.
