So sorry to hear about your son. I'm just at the beginning stages of similar concerns, and it is very stressful.
Your son sounds like he has a great attitude. You've done a good job, mom. I will keep Jacob in my thoughts and prayers. Cherie

Thank you for all the prayers, at least the MRI's are done, now we just have to get all the blood work and the EEG's and those other tests done..then I guess the waiting to get the results.
I think I am more stressed out over this than my son, which is a good thing.. |

Going to go get all the lab drawn today..I think we will stop by and see if the radiologist read his MRI's and get a copy of the report to take to our medical doctor on Thursday...Saturday he goes in the the EEG and those other tests. Hopefully we will have answers real soon.

Good luck! I hope it all goes smoothly. I've been checking back to see if you've posted any updates 'cos I couldn't remember when you said everything was being done. Let us know once you get the results back. Praying for you both!

Sorry to hear all this stuff is hitting you at once. Will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
I can really empathize with you, as we have a lot in common - my dh just got layed off 2 months ago, I have spinal problems, and a son (about the same age as yous) who I worry about. Hope things work out.

diane,
i'm sending advanced get well prayers for your quick recovery. you have such a + attitude. you're right about having to be patient but it's very, very hard. have you been worked up for MS. do you have an MS dx? i can't remember. thanks for keeping us updated. my best to your family. will you be able to keep your dh's health insurance for awhile?
