Other Half !!!!

He's younger than I am... I got myself a younger model to take care of me in my old age. Ha!! like that'll happen.
He's an RN too. Has much more compassion than me but he can't cook, unless fish finger toasties are considered cooking.

I have a 5 year old 17hh horse and a crabby 3 year old cob. If anyone fancies a ride, they're here waiting and neighing at the gate...

Wink

sorry you are going through all of this. Just try to stay positive and visualize how nice its going to be when you are able to be with your horses. take one day at a time, and try not to stress and get plenty of rest. what i do sometimes is i'll lay down to rest my head and daydream about something that i enjoyed that recently happened, and i'll find myself chuckling then i'll start laughing because i chuckled. weird, but it sort of puts me in a different frame of mind.

Oh, chuckling and laughing don't do much for me these days. When I do, I realise that I'm still wonky in the face and that makes me sad. Not quite at drooling stage but still wonky. Winking has reduced. Whining is an ongoing activity.
