Happy to hear you can run when need be!

Now....can you hop?

(remembering another thread on another board about MS and hopping and everyone getting off their duffs to see if they could hop while reading the post!!)

Yes, I do!! And I think I was one of the ones who tried it!!

BTW.....I can't hop.

Even when I "ran".....if you can call it that.....my legs felt weird. Like they were made of jello or something. Strange, strange feeling. I knew what I wanted to do.....but my brain and/or legs had different plans.

Hi Rivi and welcome to NeuroTalk!

I'm including a link to a thread someone else started about Betaseron. Maybe it will help you, too!

http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread85834.html

You might want to introduce yourself on the Newby Thread in the MS Forum......here's the link to that particular thread: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread4543.html

There's a large MS community here and we're all here to help each other along the way. I'm glad you joined!

I use bird feeders as entertainment for my INdoor cats. They sit at the slider door, and chirp, coo, and meow at the birdies, and squirrels that come to feed. They really yelp at the big blue jays. Last week they were running from window to window and yelping, and chirping and kinda going crazy. I went out back to look, and there is a HUGE redtail hawk sitting on the tree limb that holds up the clothes line. he was MASSIVE! My lil cat was sure she could take him. He stayed about a half hour, just resting. When he was done, he flapped those HUGE wings, and off he went. Havent seen him since.

I try to not feed them much in the late spring, summer, and early fall. I want them to go dig up worms, bugs, and do what comes naturally, but my kitties love them so much. Its like TV to them.

Good job Kitty! I also saved not one, but two yesterday! My kitten NEVER bothered with the birds but yesterday morning I hear...Squalking & Screaching...IN MY HOUSE!...so ran out to the living room to see a big Robin flapping around.........I had to get 3 very happy dogs & 3 cats locked out....FUN.....Then closed all doors & lights, Fan also..Then opened the screen door wide. With a little guidence she flew right out!

I still could not believe my little kitty caught her! It was bigger than her!....Two hours later, ANOTHER, but a small finch. She was also unharmed, thank GOD! So now what to do with the Big Lion?? Maybe a bell on her collar? My other two adult cats never bother with the birds! I guess they are busy with all the Gecko's, Snakes, & creepy crawlies!

If anyone has suggestions on how to keep this little kitty from the birds, let me know! I did move the feeder higher up for now & won't put any more seed in until I figure a way to keep them safe!

Hi Rivi! Welcome to NeuroTalk and to the MS forum! So glad you found us!

I've been on Betaseron for nearly three years, and my side effects are minimal. I can't say how well it's working, because I was diagnosed with MS in the early 1990's and right now I'm borderline SPMS. There are others on here on Betaseron who have had good results. Why don't you start a new post of your own asking this question. That way, people will be able to spot it easier and you may get more answers.

Hope to see you around here and The Stumble Inn. We can and do have a lot of fun on here.
