An update:

As it turns out the medication error, if it indeed did happen, didn’t have anything to do with the EKG results. The Cardiologist said that I have a slight irregularity on the EKG, but it’s not a biggie. He is monitoring my heart for 24 hours. I’ll have a stress test next week, and an Echocardiogram too. He said that all of this is just be sure that I won’t have a problem with the anesthetic, and at most I might need my blood pressure medication tweaked. That makes sense since my BP medication has not been changed since I lost all that weight. In any case, these are all good baselines to have. I am quite relieved.
