Default Burning on top of head has returned:(

I currently take 900 mg of gabapentin three times per day. I originally started out at 300mg, three times per day two years ago; was then increased to 600 mg, three times per day a few months later; and last November was increased to my current dosage.

About six weeks ago the burning returned and it seems to be getting worse. I had not called my neuro because I did not want to increase the amount that I am taking. I was hoping to "ride" it out. I have also gained about 35 pounds since being on neurontin. I have tried to reduce my dosage, but have not been successful and it was working.

I also experience burning in my left forearm, but it does not seem to bother nearly as much as the burning on my head. It starts at the top of my forehead and is on the entire left side of my head.

I finally gave in and called my neuro's office a few minutes ago.

Any suggestions?
