I drink something carbonated and eat a salty cracker of some sort.

and I also like my Rx Meclizine, even tho it makes me sleepy.

I have yet to vomit yet from the weird nausea that I've gotten since the MS kicked into gear. At least it hasnt bothered me much.

I get two types of nausea. One is from the vertigo that I get sometimes...the other nausea is weird. It'll happen usually while I'm eating, and comes out of the blue. It's actually a lot more disturbing to me than the nausea from the vertigo. It's a different "quality" of nausea. It feels different than nausea from vertigo too.

You're not alone, Catch...

I get some horrible waves of nausea. I take 20mg of prilosec (actually I take the generic CVS brand) OTC every morning, and it seems to help.
I constantly complained to my PCP about the nausea before and after my MS diagnosis. He sent me for a barium swallow and I have moderate reflux. I guess it's a pretty common condition for MSers. My former neuro told me that my constant nausea could be MS related, but I really haven't pursued it much further than that.
Pot is great for nausea and for certain types of pain. Unfortunately, it makes me sleepy and goofy so I can't use it as a go-to all the time. My mother in law provides me with a steady high-quality supply. It takes 2 puffs for me and I'm done, I guess I'm a light weight. Fortunately for me, pot was decriminalized in my state recently- the max my small supply could cost me is $100.
Aside from fatigue and pain, nausea is one of my most troubling symptoms. I usually get dizziness with it, too, and that's extra-fun.
Thanx for starting this thread. I really thought I was alone in this. I tried to look for co-horts on BT but no one else seemed to have regular nausea to the same degree.

My neuro gave me phenergan. When It is the worse I have a lot of vomiting and for those times I have to use the phenergan suppositories and they give me some relief. I don't mind the drowsiness when it's bad enough to take it. Because, then I'm so dizzy and lightheaded that I would like to sleep.

Hope yours gets better for you!
