I am sorry you are hurting. I did not have insurance eithor for a long long time. It makes a difference to what treatments you will be allowed. I went to my county health programs, to find the doctors that would treat me without insurance. Can you apply for dissability? I could not have receive the spinal fusion I had without the dissability insurance I finally received. I will pray for you, that your situation has resolution. The county health dept can and will help you. ginnie

Hi Maria,
welcome to the forum. I can't give you any advice, as I'm from Australia (we have a total different medical system here). Its seems like everyone here has sorted that out tho with some good information. Hope to see you around here some more take care Kate

Maria,
We live near Tampa. My husband has MG & we use a neurologist from USF Health. We have insurance, but they might be able to help you because they are involved with USF's medical school. Maybe they could help you find treatment at a lower cost. Good luck to you. Alison ![]() |
