Heart Awesome! Awesome!

Sooooooooo, Friday was my last "official" monthly IV IG....had my PICC line pulled and EVERYTHING! Woo-hoo! No more weekly visits to the Methodist - no more monthly IV IG - no more PICC line to worry about! I feel FREE!

I am still @ 20 mgs of pred, but hopefully even that will be reduced to every other day - I'd love to lose some of my post med induced weight gain...

Walked a mile on my treadmill and cannot wait to go into work 2morrow!

Loving my IMURAN - I think it is finally doing it's thing!

What a great day!

I hope all of you are feeling strong and HAPPY today!

Big, big hugs!
Erin

Great news Erin! How do you know this will be your last treatment? If you get IVIG monthly, don't you need to see how you feel in a month? I am so confused by all of this. How long did you have the PICC line in?

Erin,
So glad things are good for you. I just finished my two days of IVIG and I now have my strength back. The "juice" does wonders. If I could just get rid of these nagging side effects, I would be ok. I hope they go away in a couple of days. Again, so happy for you and remember to not overdo!!

Smile Hi Tbarney!

Hello there!

It was my "scheduled" monthly IV IG - if I need a quick "pick me up", I'll go back in and have another PICC line put in.....God willing, I won't!

My neuro thinks I'm stabile enough now to go without monthly treatments, but you never know! I do love the fact that I am now down to 20 mgs of pred......maybe I'll finally look like a woman again! LOL

I had my line in for 5 months - an eternity in my book - and would reduce my pred after my monthly visit. I have a very aggressive neuro who does not want to see me crash AGAIN! Did I mention how much I love this man?I will not miss my weekly visits to have my line flushed @ all, though I will miss the nurses.

The whole goal is to get me down to 20 mgs of pred every other day - 15 just made me crash......

We'll see how it goes......if you pray, please do so for me! I would love to not have to go the hospital again - EVER!

Big, big hugs!
Erin
