Hi Xmas25,
What quantity of Timespan do you take per day? I'm not sure about Timespan, but with regular 60 mg Mestinon, I would increase the frequency, i.e. each 3hrs instead of each 4hours… I assume that one should have in the body a constant quantity of active product throughout the day, so smaller doses more frequently should be better than higher doses less frequently. Mestinon intake could (should?) also vary according to individual's muscular activities, high activity, higher doses… Personnally, I often felt when I was in need (again with regular Mestinon), so I was able (and allowed by my neuro) to adjust my intake. Too much Mestinon was more difficult to detect, only when I forgot to take it, I noticed that I could stay longer without taking it! Good luck! Maurice. |

Hi xmas,
I take 60mg regular mestinon as I need it or more importantly how well I can tolorate it due to the side effects per my neuro. Sometimes I even cut them in half. To increase or decrease a time span is not that simple. How many mg is each one and how many do you take? It might be best to call your neuro and check with him/her on this one. Sorry I coudn't be more helpful. Take care and have a nice weekend! ![]() Hugs, Pat |
