Confused confused someone please help....

Im not quite sure if I am in the right place!!!! My name is Jennifer I am 20 and in the Army. When I was in basic training I got dropped off a tower about 35 ft. When I fell I hit my legs twice on the different levels of the tower. Now a year later I still have swelling, stress fractures, numbness, tingling, pain and a lot of other weird symptons. I have been going to physical therapy and they had mentioned something about compartment syndrome or possibly RSD. My legs hurt every day and I feel like I have no direction or answers does anyone know anything about either of the two? Also I go in next Friday for Electromyography and nerve conduction studies??? I dont even know what to expect or what this is going to help. They told me not to shave my legs until then and i cant have nail polish on my toes when I go in. Anyone know why??? Or have any advice for me? Im driving myself crazy and making myself anxious trying to figure out what is wrong with me.
