Crazy Cost of neurologist/MRI?

The only doctor I have had is a psych who thought that I was going through depression and perhaps ADD. I have wanted/needed to go back and talk to him, but his schedule is full for another 3 weeks! Also, I'm just a self-supporting student and can't afford another psych visit, just to be told that he doesn't know what's going on. Anybody know how much a consultation and MRI might cost? Are there any government programs that could help? I'm also trying to find out if a focusing stimulant like wellbutrin can actually make me focus less, and kill my memory, exactly the opposite of what it's supposed to be doing! Anyway, thanks guys for listening!
