Default 35 yr old, had stroke (avf) while 8mths pregnant w twins
hi!
just joined the community, so am introducing myself. had a stroke while pregnant w my twins (they are healthy, thank God)! it caused left hemiparesis and post stroke depression (bad one, probably accentuated by the post-partum hormones). anyhow, seeing pt's, psychs, neuros, doing acupuncture, feldenkrais, even hyperbarics oxygen therapy. will be researching adult stem cell implantation next (don't know enough about it yet, really).
hoping for better, brighter and stronger days ahead.

gosh, that's a lot to deal with. i'm also so happy that your babies are well.
what did you have? how old are they?

you've gotten some good advice. look around the forum and what catches your eye and to see what fits for you.

i hope your condition con't to improve. sounds like your pretty well hooked up with the right professionals.
