Hi,
My name is Jan. I've had continual facial pain on the left side of my face ever since the endodondist hit the nerve when he was numbing me for a root canal. This was Halloween 2007. And I love getting dressed for Halloween. Also, I have constant burning in the lower jaw and feel as though I still need a root canal. After the tooth was extracted -- it had cracked -- my jaw broke and I have pain in the nerve there but it doesn't bother me that much. I am on what I feel are too many meds and they are not working. I'm on effexor, tramadol, and neurotin. I'm going to be discussing tegretol and also injections. I just want some relief. Thank you for your input and any suggestions. I feel less alone now. ![]() |
