hi,
i'm from Australia! My partner has MS and I've devoted so much of my interests to reading about nutrition and health. However my partner isn't as enthusiastic as me with taking control of his illness, that's just how he copes. We hardly talk about it, and not many of our friends know. He prefers it that way, as he doesn't want sympathy and no special treatment. I'm just proud of how he remains so confident with life, and doesn't let MS dictate him. I'm joining this forum as we disagree with modern medicine/diets that caused many modern diseases including MS. Hope to chat to others who share the same view, and hope to manage my partner's MS through alternative treatments and lifestyle changes. |

You are really taking on a major assignment here, hoping to manage a disease suffered not by you but by your partner--and he's "not enthusiastic" about taking control of it. I salute you! My very best & most positive thoughts go out to you
![]() I think you might find some things in common on the forum covering vitamins, herbs, and such: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/fo...sprune=75&f=49 There is an MS Forum as well & I imagine alternative therapies may be covered there. Other folks will drop in here who may know. I'll check it out, & if no one's said one way or the other I'll let you know later.... Or of course you can just cruse on over and ask for yourself! ![]() http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum17.html Come back, ask questions, rant & rave if you need to, tell us how we can help you as well as your partner. How you feel about his passive role in all this is important too. You might find some indirect help at the Caregiver's Forum: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum56.html Hang in there, Tigerlilly. He's a lucky guy, & we're happy to have you here. ![]() ![]() |
