Default Having temp implant of Stimulator on Nov 1

Just found site tonight and was a blessing to see all of the availiable info. I have suffered with debilitating pain in my lower left side for the past 10 years now. Only relief is to go to emergency room for shot and be out for 2 days at a time. Pain clinic just says come back in two months and we will try and research your problem. Where have I heard that before? I am scheduled for temp inplant of Medtronic Stimulator on Nov 1. (just rec'd authorization yesterday) Getting worried since i see a lot of people saying go with the Boston Scientific. Have been away from work since 8 June 2011 and don't see myself going back to my 32 year career at this time. Have to make decisions fast.
