Default Hi :)

Hi I'm not sure if I'm in the right place or not, which is why I haven't really posted anything yet. I don't know where to begin... I have a cognitional disability that not only has affected my education but also interferes in my social life. I'll get into it a little bit here then I will try to detail it in another section.

When I am conversing with people I find that my cognition (the place where thought patterns exist) doesn't collectively process the thoughts needed to communicate with... and when I am listening I can hear what is being said but the social information doesn't seem to be digesting into my brain so that I can convert its energy into a reaction.

In other words... I can't take information in and when I talk my voice doesn't sound like it's coming out fluently, and I often fail to complete sentences because in the middle of my attempt to speak I lose my train of thought!

I see a psychiatrist... and I talk to a therapist. I am also going into a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy course this month. Any advice concerning this issue of mine would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
