Wink I'm a new member! Hi!

Hello!
I have had RSD for a little over 2 years now. It began with an ankle injury after a fall...now it has traveled up into my enitre left foot, ankle, leg and hip. I have had great difficulty getting appropriate help from doctors near me as I live in a relatively rural area. To make it more complicated...I am a workers' comp case, so I can't even choose my providers. I am suffering many of the same symptoms as many of you! I am in pain constantly, but prefer to keep going to live my life as best I can ...WHILE I can! Attitude is the key!
I am headed to Duke Univ. this week to see a specialist...have any of you heard of Dr. Osenbach or Dr. Goli? Any feedback...good or not-so-good, would be appreciated.
What can you tell me about neurostimulators? I am a bit hesitant to have anything implanted in my body...causing scar tissue and subsequent problems from that later...andy input? Have any of you been in the hyperbaric treatments?
Thank you for inviting me to this site. I hope to become friends with some of you and share info as we can!

Smile Hello MrsHippie!

That's an original name! It's very good to meet you! I like what you say about living life the best you can while you can. That's very important to all of us. I hope you find some help on these forums, and that you make some friends here, too. Best of wishes to you!
