Hello. For last few years i am experiencing a stange in the back of my head. I find it extremely difficult to narrate what exactly i feel. I feel vibrating, throbbing, pulsating sort of proble which gets worse when i talk, walk, eat, etc. There is no pain but tremendous uneasiness. I frequently grab back of my head to relieve myself which doesnt help. I am professionally a police officer working on computer all day long. I am a migraine patient since childhood. Anybody who may help me out.

Welcome to NT
So sorry you're having these unusual and uneasy sensations. It is much harder to deal with when you don't have an understanding of what's wrong. I do believe you. You did describe it pretty good. Often I suggest a diary, to keep data about you daily activities, diet, sleep and work schedule, habits good and bad. Exercise Routine. Maybe even bowel and bladder habits. Any vitamins, medications, supplements you are putting into you body. Rate your uneasiness, on a scale of 1 to 10. 1 being easy to tolerate;10 being hard to tolerate. Also rate you stress levels as making your symptoms worse. You may see a pattern develop that may make symptoms worse. Have you ever had a traumatic brain injury? Maybe light and sound could be triggering your symptoms. Been exposed to chemicals? Radon in you home or work. Are mornings worse? Upon waking worse? At night? If this is a constant thing? I think our brain is made up of 90% water, so inhale it. Learn about relaxation and breathing techniques. Maybe even yoga. It's good for the rest of your body. ![]() Google some Anatomy illustrations so you can become familiar with the terminology and description. Knowledge is empowering. Take care and keep asking questions.

HI sameem;
I just posted this to another person then read yours so Im going to copy and past it for you as well ---not sure but just a thought!! has something similar feeling this summer let it fo two month went to DR looked in the right ear and sent me to ENT DR. The funny thing is I has no problems in my ear just strange sensations in my head and I noticed when relaxing the back of my head felt pressure. Long story short ENT looked in ear and said middle of my ear was all inflamed very bad-- no infection--anyways called it euctachian tube dysfunction gave me 2 meds cleared it in few days. Just a thought Im so DR but your head symptoms stuck a chord with me . Wish you the best on finding out what the problems really may be!! |
