New guy here- CoQ10 question
Hi all- new guy here
I've had essential tremors most of my adult life (I turn 50 next month). For years, I've looked for a solution to this with no avail. Different doctors have told me different things, but again, none of their advice seemed to work. My current doctor seems to think they can be treated with beta blockers, but the side effects are not really worth it (extreme fatigue according to him). I've finally found the right combination of antidepressants that work best for me (I've been pretty depressed most of my life) and I don't want to change any of that now, nor do I want to add any more pharmaceuticals to the mix at this time. I've recently been reading about CoQ10. How effective is it? My current doctor does not really endorse supplements ("you'd do just as well to eat a handful of M&M's"). I will try whatever it takes to at least lessen the tremors. I'd like to hear from people with first hand experience with CoQ10- or any other supplements for that matter.
