I have had leg pain when walking or standing after about 10 minutes to a half an hour for about 5 years. No pain when sitting or lying down. Epidural injections are less and less effective after having about 8 of them. Neurontin worked great for about 6 weeks then stopped. PT, acupuncture, etc did no good at all. Am currently considering spinal fusion/laminectomy but am concerned that it's like killing a fly with an atom bomb. I could live with my pain forever but it makes my world a lot smaller than I'd like it to be. I'm 66. Anyone have experience with this surgery that they would share? Many thanks.
