The MRI report is much easier to understand rather than the MRI it's self. The report has an "Impression" section which will tell you the possible causes, if any, of what may or may not have been found on the MRIs.

I'm sorry your doc doesn't seem to be up for his role! Is he an army doc? I am going to suggest that you could find another one. Perhaps you could look up a good one for your area under ratemds.com. Your doctor might also not have the expertise, and need a neurologist to explain things to you.

Have you spoken to a lawyer? It can be awful dealing with them.. I believe there might be a lawyer rating site as well, to find someone who is good at advocating for people who've been injured. If you get a good one, it could possibly help take some pressure and stress off in your situation.. you need to only be focussed on getting better and healing. It's late now so I'm signing off soon but I'd like to chat further to check into your mri pics etc.. I don't really know how to interpret them but I'll check 'em out at least and offer whatever my impressions are and let's figure out a time to chat sometime.

You are entitled to your records. Get the copy of the summary notes from your MRI. The folks here can help with that better than the actual MRI. If a refusal is given, and not the notes, I would contact a lawyer. If you do not have the results, nor will your doctor read them, well that puts you in a position of really not knowing anything.
You do need a new doc. just from how this has played out. I would be quite angry, and most likely would have a hissy fit at the office if I were denied. Knowledge is power to make the correct decisions in our lives. If we are denied that knowledge, it puts us in a helpless situation. NOT acceptable. Fight for your rights rabbit. ginnie

I am looking into it tomarrow, and i will get a copy! my phsio said to have a copy sent to them and they will give it to me. If i still cant get them i will get a lawer! then they will see what a woman with ptsd and pcs CAN do at an office!

Glad someone will help you to get your records. That should not have to happen, but better that way then not at all. You must get them to get a good idea of what is wrong with you. How could a person know what to do if no one tells them what it wrong? My physio clinic got my report for me...guess what, its clear. but she looked at the pictures and found alot wrong. my brain is twisted, brusing, abnormal bone growth, fracters, etc.. she was so angey with what as missed. she is on course next week deeling with the brain, and took some of my pictures with her. when she gets back she wants to talk to my neuroligist about it. she did some mouth work trying to move my jaw back into place because its badly deteriated. my face was in a lot of pain for the past few days but no pain no gain right. my teeth now line up better. she said hat when they are only looking for one thing thst they will miss the obvious.
