Default alternative medication to Lyrica

Well hello there!

this is all new to me, so i ask your patience please.

My husband was involved in a motor bike accident in December 2013, he had massive impact on the right side of his body. further to this his right lower arm was broken and due to the plaster of paris being to tight, he had to have his arm removed!! together with the nerve damage from the impact and the phantom pains/feelings, he is on 600mg Lyrica a day. Can anyone advise me what other medication is out there other than Lyrica. Any assistance will be most welcome. thank you
