Hi

Well appointment went sort of ok, during the hyperventilation part I experienced some strange symptoms my left arm kept jerking and I was quiet nauseous also had tingling in my fingers which apparently is normal. She kept asking me if I was ok but it was all a bit foggy by then. Well at least that's done now, going to try and focus on Christmas, was told about 2weeks for the results don't think I will chase them up. Will put it to the back of my mind until I go back to see the Neurologist.

Thank You Dave it's so nice to just be able to talk to other people who understand, family think I'm pretty strange at the moment and have taken to completing my sentence's for me when I struggle to speak, which I actually find quiet irritating but don't want to say anything as I know they are only trying to help in their own way.

Cool Smirk

I am glad everything went as expected. Do try to relax and enjoy the Christmas period, at least it is a distraction which files by.

It can be irritating when, for the best intentions, our family's help is the opposite of what we want. I have problems forming answers to questions, can take 20-30 seconds, they know this problem but refuse to show any patience.

Have a good Holiday period, keep in touch throughout and let us know when you go to the important appt.

Dave.

I know how you feel Dave, family I find in particular don't seem to have the patience, I do get there in the end and it somehow feels as though they resort to treating me almost like a child which is very annoying. Speech is something we very often take for granted.

I hope you also enjoy the festive period
