(((Older Sis))) I'm so glad you connected with some people.

My family, my closest uncle's family, is dealing with their son, my cousin, who is in dire straits with alcoholism. He now has to breathe into his phone at a precise time each morning and night. I saw him at our family picnic yesterday, and found him drinking some of the 'Strip and Go Naked' punch and timing it so that the alcohol wouldn't be on his breath when he had to report into the phone last night.

Good grief. And he thinks it's horrible that police bother arresting drunks who drive and should be after criminals. That statement got us into quite a tiff. And, he's been in outpatient treatment. Well, anyway, that's another long story, and I don't want to worry you with your struggle. Everyone is different. As I said, my best friend being forced into treatment worked and she is, I think, 20 or 21 years sober.
