Hello Crypts_Of_The_Mind
Welcome to Neurotalk Support Groups ![]() You have landed in a great place and will find many friendly and supportive people here. I am sorry to hear about your troubles with epilepsy and your back. On your medications, there are a lot of little tricks to help with that. If you have already tried setting an alarm or trying a pill-minder, you might look at the automated dispensers that tell you when to take it. Back trouble can be a real challenge, especially if it is hampering your ability to walk. Strained muscles alone can be quite uncomfortable and take time to settle down. I can speak from experience on that one - and they often strike in the same place. I hope that is indeed all you're dealing with. Exercises to strengthen your core, physical therapy, chiropractic, massage or Active Release Therapy may help. You might find these subforums helpful Epilepsy Spinal Disorders and Back Pain Answers to common questions can be found in the FAQ at the top of the main page and there is a handy Search feature there as well. Make yourself at home, there is a lot to explore. We look forward to seeing you around. Have a beautiful day, ![]()

Thanks for the welcome and for the advice/information. I have done the pill boxes - but I even forget about those and but I might look into the alarmed ones (all depends on price). The reason I don't think it's a strain is cuz it happened the first time when all I was doing was walking, and the other timew I don't do anything more strenuous than that either. I do lift heavy things at times and stretch at times - but that's not when this comes on. I will look in those forums, thanks

![]() I myself developed epilepsy back and the age of 10. Correctly through my Neuro and this message board I have not had one since December of 2009. You will find some great friends in the Epilepsy forum. Please keep us up to date on your condition. Again welcome, looking forward to seeing you around. My thoughts and prayers are with you. ![]() Darlene ![]()
