Default new to this site & need info

Can rsd follow an episode of superficial phlebitis? Can it occur due to herniated discs, radiculopathy, polyneuropathy? My left leg from the ankle to mid calf is so painful, a deep burning relentless pain, dark red in color, hardened, numb, dry skin, swelling of ankle/leg. Clothing against it is painfull, nothing relieves the pain, it burns constantly. I am concerned that any doctor I have seen for back problems etc. don't even address it. My neuro had me follow up with family doc for venous changes (said it looked as if an ulcer might be forming) my doc said "i don't think this is anything cardiac. When I looked at the symptoms of rsd they seem to fit. Now my left hip has begun to be very painfull and I am having increased diff walking. Does this sound like rsd and how do I get a doc to consider this as a possibility? Thanks for any input
