Default seizures cause?

yesterday, i got up early at 8.25am to get ready to go to work which i
started at 10am, the work place environment is like small
supermarket....I finished my shift at 4.30pm, during my break i had
homemade brown rices and sauce meat etc etc, i also buy the oasis drink
and carbonate water..so i can mixed it like a fizzy so i drank it. When I
was on my way to home, i wouldnt say i was heavily tired of course it
is warm outside, very warm outside. So i arrived at home around 7 ish ,
chill on the sofa for 10 mins, as my mum made lasgane for dinner, so I
ate dinner with all member of family in the living room and two kids
too, as the kids was watching the diary of a wimpy kids. we all watch
it, once i finish my dinner and back on sofa watching the show till 8pm
ish. I felt light headed and dull, like i been sitting on the sofa all
day which i hate the feeling. so i kept myself up moving around and do
my sketch to keep myself occupied and went back to the sofa... again it
is even worse, so i get up and go back on the table to do a bit more of
sketch ....i am aware that i am going to have minor seizure... where the
buzzing in the ears started before i black out and had a seizure...when
my mum heard something she came to nexxt room, discover it. so I got
back myself normal and found myself salvia dribbling etc etc.....

I am aware of having seziures, but what cause it?

coming
to home doing nothing and sit on the sofa through out the evening can make feel dull and sluggish, nervous as same time watching tv, could
lead me to seizures

my mum said the oasis drink got a sweetener in it can trigger seizures

after
finish work, i was sitting in bus very warm with noise air
conditioning, could affect it, i normally come to home by train and
walks which quicker than the bus

I know one of my biggest vices/weaknesses is staying up late to either
surf the web or watch TV, ergo resulting in less-than-optimal sleep,
which I've since found out is one of the causes of epilepsy?

the problem is the hours of my shift, sunday 10am to 4.30pm

monday 5pm to 10.30pm

tuesday 5pm to 10.30pm

monday
and tuesday i came home 11ish pm and take my medicine before i sleep,
most of time using iphone on my bed and fall asleep 12ish?
and wake up wednesday morning 10.30ish?

do you think i should take my medicine same time as morning and evening, and get to bed same time

or i shouldnt finish my shift at 10.30pm, should it be earlier than 10.30pm in order to get early sleep like 10pm?

monday
and tuesday shift is not bad, but i shouldnt use iphone surfing while i
am in bed , i shouuld be in bed straight after my medicine? but i will
fall asleep 12ish? how long does it take you to fall asleep quickly?

i am taking lomogrtine 50g and levertacietm 1500g

anyone have same issue here? advice please

Wink Greetings!!

senu87,

It is great to have you come and be with us. You will fine a great number of dear friends to listen when you are in need of ears. Please, just let us know how we can help you out. You will find out we are supportive and relaxing place. I do have epilepsy which I was 10 when it developed. It has been going on for 49 years ago, until in december of 2009.

My advice to you is to see a neurologist or Epileptologst I found that seeing an Epileptologist at a Epilepsy Center has been the best thing I ever did because Epileptologist specialize in epilepsy and they can find out the cause of the sz. along with putting a person on the least amount of sz. meds to help control the sz.
If you do see a neuro or Epileptologist you should get an e.e.g. done along with an MRI and CT scan this will help find out what's going on.
If you want to find an Epileptologist you need to ask your family Dr. to refer you to one you can usual find them at University Hospitals or Large hosptials.

Try taking vitamin B12 once a day, cut back on caffeine, starch foods, and carbs and you may want to stay away from anything with nutra sweet in it because the nutra sweet causes more electrical activity in the brain and can sometimes cause sz. for a person. Also when at the theater seeing a movie when the bright light blast out avoid looks at them by covering you eyes.

Start keeping track of your sz. and write down what time they happen and describe them also write down when you start and stop your monthly cycle because hormones changing can also cause sz. for many women.

Please keep us up to date on your situation. Again welcome, looking forward to seeing you around. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
