Default Stan Jones

I am the care giver for my wife who has Parkinson's. I need help & support in dealing w/her new irrational behavior & forgetfulness. She is a sharp intelligent person who has lost her edge.

Would like to hear how others deal w/this type of change in behavior

Hello Stan and welcome from me as well.

What a wonderful husband you are, to be seeking support with the care of your wife. It must be heartbreaking for you at times.

I see that Chemar has given you the directions to the Parkinson's Forum, but I wondered if you might benefit from those people like yourself, who visit the Caregiver's Forum. Here's the link for you to have a look at:

Default Hi, Stan...

It's really good to meet you. I'm so sorry about the condition your wife is in. I know it must be hard to be a good care-giver, and to see someone who you love stuck in a kind of pain that you can't get rid of. But it's very honorable of you to stick beside her that way. My own wife decided that she could do better than a sick husband, and off she went. So I feel a special kind of respect for you. Good luck and the very best of wishes, Stan.
