Hey!
I am a new member.I have no idea how to do this!
I am a 57 year old female about to set up an appt. for a acdf. I am so scared
I can't stop crying. Is there anyone who has had this surgery that can tell me ANYTHING that might help me calm down? Thanks, paulatb

I'm sorry I don't know anything about ACDF... I looked over on the Back Pain forum and found several people talking about ACDF.

Oh dear Paula, the first thing I'm going to do is give you a great big hug!

I wish I could give you the advice that you need, but I can't as I have MS and I don't know anything about acdf. Maybe one of the other members who I'm sure will be along shortly, will have information for you that I can't provide.

I'm so glad you found us though because I too am a 57 years old, and NeuroTalk has been my saving grace.

I'm sorry you're struggling with this, I'm sure that you will feel better once it's behind you.

You're doing fine, and you'll get the hang of the message boards in no time. It might help you to make lots of bookmarks at first, we have a lot of forums here. Also, any time you get lost, go to the toolbar at the top of every page and click on "User CP" which will take you to some options to subscribe to threads of interest.

Hang in there and know that we are all right here.
