Now I also have: Twisted vertabrae, 3 discs slipping, fisured tongue, spinal stenosis, neroformenal stenosis, and menintitis in my knees. I can barely stand the chronic pain although I am on 90 mgs morphine, 240 mgs. nerontin, prozac, and blood pressure pills. I can't even tell I take pain pills. It shoots from my neck to the ankles and I can hardly bend my knees..My husband was laid off of his job on friday so our medical will be cut off after 28yrs. and no income except unemployment and I'm scared to death.....Does anyone know how to help me??? Thanks for listening,
LeeAnn

Hello LeeAnn and welcome to NeuroTalk. Wow, you have had alot to deal w/and I'm really sorry about your husband's job. I see maryann has given you some directions, so I hope you take a look around and make yourself at home. As a back/spine pain sufferer myself, I can understand some of the pain you endure. Hope you can get some relief soon. take care.

Lee53,

I'm new to the community, but not new to pain. Hang in there girl. Just focus on what you and your husband/ family needs to get through the day. Let tomorrow take care of itself. Take a lot of deep cleansing breaths to release the tension and pain. Just let that stress go. Take courage that others have been under the bus and survived. You will get through this.

Hello, welcome to NT! I hope you hang around so we can get to know you!

Back pain is really hard to deal with, I am sorry you have to go through it along with your other challenges. Life is not fair sometimes.
