Default New to community

Hello everyone. I've joined the community hoping that I can find help regarding small fiber neuropathy. I'm 55 years old and have recently been going through the gambit of tests for the last three months from neurology and am waiting for an appointment to Mayo Clinic for small fiber neuropathy testing. I've never faced anything like this before (and I'm a cancer survivor). The pain is beginning to wear on me mentally, and I'm just praying that the doctors can find something to treat effectively. Like you all, I'm sure I've read just about everything there is to read on the internet and still feel short on knowledge. I'm very interested in alternative treatments and would very much appreciate recommendations from the community. Thanks for your welcoming messages and I look forward to being a part of the community.
