Hello and another welcome to Neurotalk here. I'm sorry for what you are going through. OCD is such a misunderstood syndrome. Since your boyfriend's DX, has he been put on any meds to hlep control the OCD? If so, they do take a little time to start to help.

I am so glad you found us here and hope you continue to come here for help, advice and friendship. Good luck and maybe contact the OCD Foundation, as they could probably give you some good advice in regards to living w/the confusion that OCD brings to life. At least now, it is becoming recognized and Dr's are aware of the problems that come w/it. Take care....
