Default Occipital Nerve Stimulator Implant??
Has anyone had this surgery done? I am supposed to have the 4 day trial done, am very apprehensive about how this works....

Yes, I had a Medtronic Restore Ultra implanted in 2010. Before my surgery, I went through 5 years of daily headaches all the different medications, 3 different doctors, spinal tap, 5 nerve block injections. I then was refered to MUSC in Charleston, SC where I met Dr. Istvan Tacas who saved my life, my marriage and everyday wellbeing.

If nothing else works, don't be afraid of surgery. I have been 98% pain free for 5 years. I take zero medicine, which means zero side affects. I still have an occasional headache, but it very easily removed with my control box. I just temporarily increase voltage until it's gone.

I would recommend this to anybody able to get one.
