Talking The Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, King of the Hill............

Grown up Cartoons.

Talk about YOUR favourites in this thread.

I am hooked. I didn't start out to be but I seem to be at this point.

Stewie on Family Guy. What a Piece of Work THAT little guy is. His voice has been going through my head in an endless LOOP since I woke up this morning.

Last night I watched one of the beginning episodes of King of the Hill. The one where little Bobby, who I Love, takes home economics class and infinges on Peggy's domain. I had never seen that one before. I THINK she over reacted.

I have always liked "The Simpsons", but lately it's gotten sort of tired and hackneyed. In my opinion.

I do enjoy "Family Guy". The local CW station runs repeats every evening for an hour. All the characters are enjoyable. Peter, Lois, Stewie, Brian, Quagmire, etc.

"American Dad" is okay. I think Seth MacFarlane has his hands in both "Family Guy" and "American Dad".

"King Of the Hill" appeals to me because I've been to Austin quite a few times and can see how some Austinites act like the characters in the cartoon!

I can't really pick a favorite out of all these. I enjoy them all.

You know what other character on Family Guy cracks me up? Herbert, the old man with the walker that exhibits pedophile tendencies.

The one whose dentures don't fit so well because every time he makes an 'S' sound, it whistles.

And Herbert's dog is amusing as well. That poor dog needs a walker too. Remember when Peter got his finger cut off and had to try and beat the dog to retrieve it off the sidewalk? That was classic.

Of all of them I think I watch that show the least BUT I do know who you mean.

My favourite KotH episodes are the Firehouse one and the one where Boomhower goes drifting down the river on his inner tube and falls a sleep then ends up in the mental hospital. That one is hysterical.

Yeah, Boomhauer cracks me up. I used to live in New Mexico and the governor at the time was extremely hard to understand. He spoke like Boomhauer! Other New Mexicans that I knew also heard and saw the parallels.

Shocked

Dale Gribble gets job FIRING people and ends up killing all his baby Hissing Cockroaches in the heating vents. I have to say when he gets home and does his strip tease for Nancy then jumps up on the bed in just his undies. Oh Man, THAT has to be the most unsexy thing I've ever seen. SHEEEESHAAAAAAA.....................

Another thing I like about "Family Guy" is that Adam West is the mayor of Quahog. And the real Adam West does the voice.
