Not to be the cynic, but I read those same claims and did a bit of research...what I found did not back those claims up. There have been three studies I found on lithium orotate. The studies do not consistently support these claims so to my mind, they are by no means established. Also, the claims of superior bioavailability and lesser dose are quite controverted (which I would expect, big pharma and main stream medicine have no interest in curing anything, least of all the ever-increasing prevalence of such a money-maker as PD).
I guess my point is, is that one still must be very careful in taking any kind of lithium because it can and does affect the kidneys, as well as other key organs. I still dont' think it advisable to take unless you are being monitored by someone knowledgeable, and that's saying a lot for me because Lordy knows we've tried gobs of things ourselves, by ourselves. Having said that, yes, we are going to try it too, just as soon as we figure out whether the Inderal we just started taking is making any kind of difference....
