We gave my son a t-shirt for Xmas that said "Fetchez la vache". The people who knew what it was about thought it was hilarioius!

My first contact with Monty Python was when my husband and I were out for dinner with the people he'd been on a course with. Two young army guys started rhyming off one of the skits by memory, back and forth - one of the funniest things I've listened to although I didn't have a clue what it was all about.

Give me all your loupins! Birte, whenever I see loupins in a garden or even in a magazine, I always remember that sketch and the poor, dying cottagers being flooded with even more loupins instead of money.

Maybe we should all remember the wacky crucifixion scene in Life of Brian and sing with them: Always look on the bright si-ide of life...whistle, whistle, whistle...

Hey, I love Benny Hill, too. I hear the old reruns have been banned somewhere (could it be the UK?) because they were too sexist??? If Benny Hill was too sexist, then MTV and a few more channels should be shut down.

Default New Member Saying Hi

Hi there everyone! I was diagnosed with PD in January 2007. I'm 34 years old and really struggling with what this means for my future. I'm not on meds yet - my tremor (in my right arm and leg) is still manageable. I wanted to reach out to others and get to know this community I've suddenly become a part of. Thanks for listening. I hope I can contribute some helpful information one of these days!

Welcome BC! I've got one eye open and the other sleeping so for now I"ll just say that I hope you can get some of the knowledge and support you need right here and sorry you have to join us. More and more are being diagnosed at your age...something we must all try to learn more about and prevent.

Hey, BCinDC, welcome to the group! Pull up a chair and make yourself at home.
PD sucks big time, so you have to keep a positive attitude. Don't put off taking PD meds, they make a great difference, and the first years feel like not having PD at all. In other words, don't wait and let the best years go by unmedicated and depressed.
What's your favourite comedy series?

Hugs
Teresa
