Default Weekly Check-In April 6-12, 2008

Hi Everyone..It getting a bit warmer every week, but lots of rain..Ive had enough of cold weather and the oil man..I got an oil bill this week for $750, for 199 gallons!!!!....What is this all coming too??

On Tuesday I went over too the Paul Cuffee school in the city and talked to the students about how fish are caught commercially, and then a biologist from URI disected a fish..It was quite an interesting day..The students were alot more interested in the topic than I thought they would be, and as a matter of fact, one of the students came over and thanked me for coming to the school and sharing my experience..Thank God I got through two classes with a minimal amount of stuttering!

Its time for me to get active, because Im really starting to pay the price for too much hanging around..Ive been feeling weak, and getting rigid..Im thinking about hauling my boat out this week and getting it ready for another season hopefully

How was your week?

Today was a busy day. I've been up since 3:30 AM. I had an adoption event today and even though there is only one foster dog left, I and to bath him. He is a full grown rottweler and doesn't like baths. Then friends came by to power wash my deck for me and their power washer broke down. I raced into town to rent one and missed the closing time by 2 minutes,So that is rescheduled for tomorrow. Finally, another friend came with his big diesel flat bed to get horse manure for his garden and got stuck in the field. My 20 year old pickup pulled him out like a champ. Tonight I'm typing very gingerly with bruised fingers from trying to set mouse traps in my barn, PD & mousetraps don't mix too well.

Heart My group fare away-

Hello -
It`s like a miracle, you are still here on my P.C. My depression is now better, I have started in a group "basic body awareness ".
My physiotherapist is a good helper and my doctor has given me Fontex.

I will be back when I get better. It is hope for me , all of you have been down sometime I think, you have been fighting and the sun is up in your daily life again

Annelise;
Depression is the most insideous symptom we have. You CAN beat it. It takes help and meds IMHO. I know I never truly got mine to a manageable level til I had a DBS. Yoou have many friends here, USE THEM! Talking about it is carthartic.

You will be ok, just keep plugging away at it.

email me if I can help <chasmo@gmail.com>

your friend;

Charlie
